A walkthrough of The Right At Home Project

Edmonton’s veteran net zero energy building designer/builder, Peter Amerongen of Habitat Studio, will cover the planning, design, teamwork, the tools, and technology that made the 30,000 sq. ft. Right At Home Project a ground breaking success.

The sixteen stacked townhouse units – affordable housing primarily for large immigrant families, and the new church, daycare, and community building have been designed to use so little energy that the 117KW rooftop photovoltaic system and geothermal system will produce all the energy needed annually for heating, cooling, hot water, lighting and appliances.
