Pilates + Posture Practice

Learn how to find and work those intrinsic muscles that help you move through the day. Align the spine to improve posture, functional movement, balance, breathe, strength, and more.

In this mixed level class beginners can learn the foundation movements and for those wanting more, the intensity and awareness can be ramped up. If injury stops you from living life fully, learn to work around it and with it instead of against it.  With a  ‘You can do it Attitude!’, you will connect to your inner strength and push personal boundaries. Find the newer, fitter you!

Cost & Membership
A valid Newton Community League membership is required – instructors will have memberships for purchase! Participants MUST bring their own equipment – instruction time is free! Programs will be run in accordance with AHS recommendations and any applicable City of Edmonton bylaws.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Due to the COVID, Pilates + Posture Practice and Yoga will be done entirely online via Zoom. Everyone registered will receive a link prior to class.

Choose your method of registration. Both the required documents are available online and in print format.

Fill out both the Registration and Par-Q+ forms and submit online or print the documents, fill out and submit via email to susan@corefitness.ca at least 1 WEEK PRIOR TO the START OF SESSION.

Zoom
If you plan to attend by Zoom, please download the Zoom App onto the device you will use (preferably a laptop). You will receive an email with a Zoom link the day before each Zoom class in the Session.
