The City now has a draft Community and Recreation Facility Master Plan, model and implementation plan. These components will be key in guiding effective decision making for new and existing recreation facilities, such as community centres, indoor soccer pitches, ice arenas, seniors centres and aquatic centres, to name a few.
The Master Plan and its pieces have been built on the invaluable input provided by more than 5,500 Edmontonians and 250 other stakeholder groups. This input has helped shape the City’s approach to recreation facilities in Edmonton for the next 20 years.
We are inviting you to take part in one of our two public information sessions to provide comment, ask questions and see displays before the Master Plan goes to Council this spring.
