Yoga & Chair Yoga

YOGA has been shown to have a broad range of physical, emotional, and mental health benefits for everyone. Along with stillness, breath and self- expression this is a holistic and self-empowering way to support and enhance wellbeing.

Our weekly yoga practice will include mindful movement, stillness, breath and self-expression as a holistic and self-empowering way to support and enhance wellbeing. In order to make this practice more accessible, chair yoga  avoids floor work and focuses on mindful movement while sitting or standing using the chair for support. No experience needed. Dress for exercise; no shoes required.

Cost & Membership
Classes are free with a valid Newton Community League membership. Instructors will also have some available for purchase.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment. If needed, there is community equipment available that requires sanitization after each use.
