YOGA has been shown to have a broad range of physical, emotional, and mental health and fitness benefits for everyone. Our neighbourhood practice will include breathing (pranayama), yoga poses (asana) & meditation progressing each week at an individualized pace. No experience needed. Dress for exercise; no shoes required. Mats and props are available or bring your own.

Cost & Membership
A valid Newton Community League membership is required – instructors will have memberships for purchase! Participants MUST bring their own equipment – instruction time is free! Programs will be run in accordance with AHS recommendations and any applicable City of Edmonton bylaws.

Due to the COVID, Pilates + Posture Practice and Yoga will be done entirely online via Zoom. Everyone registered will receive a link prior to class.

If you plan to attend by Zoom, please download the Zoom App onto the device you will use (preferably a laptop). You will receive an email with a Zoom link the day before each Zoom class in the Session.
